Our mission is to provoke dialogue and ultimately find resolutions for issues that adversely affects relationships in the afro American / Afro Caribbean community. We believe that a lot of our issues derive from a cycle of hurt that originates from the brutality of slavery and is constantly recycled and perpetuated in our relationships.
Our intention is to shed light on the spiritual / psychological warfare that was waged on the African diaspora as well as the indigenous people of the Americas in attempts to make slaves and solidify European supremacy in North America.
WHO IS Hehealshearts?
Often, life-changing events force one to reconsider the direction of their life. In the midst of turmoil, one discovers the beauty of simplicity. Such has been the events of my life.
As I advance through life, I discover how complicated life can be. I become more aware of the imprint that my experiences, as well as those of my forefathers, have left on me. I discover that those experiences become a part of my existence, and to some degree governor how I move through this world. It is often said that a man is the sum of his experiences. However, I would interject that a man is the sum of his reactions to his experiences. For a man bears no responsibility for the experiences that life affords him, but he is the master of his reactions.
I embarked on an exploration of the depths of my heart, in search of the “authentic me”. That’s me minus the barricades and facades that I had erected to mask my vulnerabilities. Being in a very tumultuous time in my life, I encountered much refuse. In spite, there was a constant draw to look deeper into my being. Therein depravity, I discovered something inside me that opposed everything vile. There it was, beckoning me nearer, my God nature. The piece of Him that exists in each of us.
